Also, cats with white ears are susceptible to skin cancer on the ears. When we had our cat, the Mrs used to put sun cream on the cats ears when she did the kids in the morning.
Just tidying my desk and I found this - I forgot I still had it.
Took it off a kid a while back who brought it in to bash another kid up and was showing it off. Should have heard him squeal - "It's not mine and I've got to give it back to my mate tonight or I'll be in right trouble". Oh yeah, well tell him he's lost it now. That can go in my weapon collection alongside the extendable cosh. Kids eh!

Lol, nah, that's just cats being cats, selective hearingI never knew that!! We have 3 white cats and they may well be deaf, they don’t stop clawing chairs when I ask them to!!
They were an accidental litter from a cat that is a kitten herself. We had a week of horny boy cats outside the house and our cat climbed out off a window then went off for some nookie in the woods. She has made a very good mother but this will be her only litter.
3 have homes to go to, 2 don’t yet but my sister has a pet shop so i’m sure she will know someone for the other 2
We were very lucky with our old cat, he never scratched a thing other than the things we bought for him. Luckily a bigger fan of those cardboard scratch boxes than the sofa or carpet!
Glad you're finding homes. If I lived nearer, I'd beg for one too, though the other half would probably kill me.
As teenagers we used to go down a narrow lane near to what is now John Lennon airport. We would go bike scrambling in the sand dunes on the banks of the Mersey and on the way back, just as the sun had almost gone down, we would trundle our bikes back up the lane on the way home. Many a time we would nick a couple of beets from one field, a few potatoes from another and scrump some apples further along. Farmers never caught us, in fact I think they thought it was too much bother to chase us as they were only small amounts we took, then further up the lane we were able to freely pick blackberries when they were in season, usually Sept/Oct I think. With the beetroots we would take one for home and one to eat on the way. No washing, just rub any dirt off on our clothing and munch into them.
Then they built the new runway and the farms were abandoned and left to grow wild.

oh yes, been picking off eggs from my cabbage in the garden. Only way to grow em really is under netting.. which I didn't do this year. I've 5 regular cabbage butterflies swooping down all day long laying eggs.The enemy. On my cabbage patch.
I did net but obviously not good enough! Very frustrating to see loads of butterfly’s fluttering about UNDER the netting!

No left that job early this year. Took early retirement but was bored after a week so now work part time at Center Parcs 2 days a week.
