A Tory politician who has been suspended over an offensive tweet about Jeremy Corbyn and is under investigation by the party says that he deeply regrets his "stupid" remark.

Councillor Roger Patterson, who represents the Scampton ward on West Lindsey District Council, posted a tweet at 11.52pm on Wednesday, July 24 in which he wrote that "traitor" Corbyn should be "swinging from the gallows like Saddam Hussein".

He also posted that the Labour leader had "betrayed this country by his support for terrorists and our enemies".

Labour will not win a GE with Corbyn as leader there are just too many people who dislike him. Bojo will walk a GE win. If people spend more time looking at Tripadvisor reviews before they book a holiday but give scant regard to actual Government policies they deserve the leaders they get.

There are too many people brainwashed by the media and unable to think for themselves....unfortunately.

Yes, there are lots of people that still Jeremy Corbyn and his cronies taking over the Labour party is democratic and that somehow they represents true Labour voters.

No doubt such people will blame Corbyns lacklustre performance is all due to 'unfair press'.

They still like to mention how well he did against possibly the worst Tory leader ever. Thats yesterdays news, time for a new plan :ROFLMAO:

If you get fed the same diet everyday you will become what they want you to be.
most people seem to be unable to think for themselves, whenever i see or here anything i always question it..the BBC have also become nothing but a propaganda machine, Venezuela, Russia, Syria, Iraq and now Iran..everything you get told about these places, you have to go to independent news sources for an alternative view, then form your own opinion.
As for Corbyn, whether you like him or not, he is one of the very few people that want to help the working class, but unfortunately the working class have turned on him after a daily diet of anti Corbyn material, even the Tory plants in the Labour party feed out the daily sh1t about him

We discussed this in another thread, you never responded to my post, i guessed you couldnt argue your case....
This was my post.....

So answer me this then, if Corbyn leads a minority view, how come he has been elected twice? the second time with an even bigger mandate, he got about 60% of the vote in i think a three horse race.
so come on then Notch7, please explain that? he couldnt have got such a huge majority of the vote if he was leading a minority group?
and lets not forget, they were so scared of him winning they even tried to keep him off the ballot the second time, yeah thats right, keep him off the ballot..hahahaa....and not lets forget, he has doubled the membership to over half a million, yeah DOUBLED THE MEMBERSHIP..!!!...that doesnt sound like a minority group..
you also talk about purging the party of moderate MP's, so you dont agree with democracy then?? the members are taking the power back (as they should) and they are demanding that every labour MP should be up for re selection, no mp should have a job for life, if they are performing then they will keep their job, if they are not performing and not representing the members who elect them, so what is wrong with that? isnt that democracy???? as for purging, isnt that what the right have done to the left for decades? they made sure that left leaning members never got put forward for an MP's position...and once the Blairites got a grip on power they tried their best to make sure they held onto it....but the big mistake what they made was allowing Corbyn onto the ballot paper at the very beginning...the fools didnt realise that he would win, you see the socialists had not been given an opportunity to elect a socialist leader for decades, and when they got the chance they jumped at it...
you want to talk about antisemitism as well? i'll chat with you about that all day long

Corbyn has no chance against Bojo.

Corbyn heart in the right place but Politics is about personality and getting people to vote for you and not your policies. The Tory policies pretty much have been shambolic but as long as you can sell Corbyn as pro Ira, pro muslim, pro immigrant then any argument about poor policies is discarded.

Corbyn mistakenly believes he can win over leaver Labour voters and keep remainer Labour voters. Corbyn has a longer and more consistent anti EU stance than Boris but we are not in a world where compromises are seen as positive results in fact they are seen as signs of weakness.

Labour has no chance if they do not become the party of Remain and change their leader and then hammer points home about poor Tory policies.

so you pretty much have the same thinking as me, he is being torn apart by the media...
but then it leads to the problem of democracy, do we really have true democracy, the Tories own the media, they discredit the one man that is trying to stand up to them whilst they stash their money in offshore accounts...
so the question has to be, do we let the media dictate who is the leader of the opposition? if its not a labour leader who is kissing the asses of the rich, then they turn their hate on him and get the public against him...i often hear numpties say they would never vote for Corbyn, and when you ask them why, they dont really have a clue, they just regurgitate some of the crap that the media have thrown at him...
whether he could get elected or not i dont honestly know, but i know the media are scared to death of him, and if he was unectable like they say, why not just leave him in place, why are they trying so hard to get rid of him if he wasnt a worry?

No...

And we're not even close to it!

Yes its true, Ellal isnt happy we have a monarchy and dont have a written constitution.

He would prefer to have those things, say like America.

Or France , that Macron true man of the people :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Spain, now theres a true domocracy. :ROFLMAO:

The Media is scared as Corby would implement Levenson part 2.

The problem is that most peoples understanding of democracy is one person one vote. However they fail to understand how their vote can be manipulated and how they consistently vote against their best interests time and time again. Chomsky termed it as manufactured consent.

The Republicans could not argue against the benefits of ACA healthcare act so they labeled it 'ObamaCare'. Obama has been weaponised by the Republicans with the help of RW Media. You would then see poor Republican voters saying the ACA saved their lives but they want rid of ObamaCare. But the ACA is Obamacare.

It's happening in the UK but with Brexit.
