Fence Panels Against a Wall: The Piers Are My Side!

Title says it... The panels won't neatly fit in or around the piers, so what's the easiest secure way to solve the problem. My first idea was to attach timbers to the wall, but the pier depth is a full 6" and that's a lump of timber. Now I'm thinking of making up 'timber RSJs' fixed to the wall to take the joins in the panels. Is this workable, or any other advice will be welcome. Ta.

Can't do pics TCR, basically, the wall is not flat- it has 3 piers in the way so I can'r screw the panels to the wall. I have to 'make' more Piers in the right spots for the panel joints. (and I'd prefer not to be concreting posts in)

How big is the gap between the piers? width and height of the gaps?
 
Working along the wall...Garage wall- pier attached-8ft gap-pier-12ft gap-pier-2ft gap- house wall. The depth front of pier to face of wal is 6". Wall is 5" high.
 
Fit timber arris rails between the pillars - possibly use U Channel cut into 4" sections that screw to the brickwork to provide sockets for the timber.
Then fix a close boarded fence to the rails or cut premade panels down to fit
 
Nope, I've still not got a scooby, but if its been answered now that'll do.

I might have another look in after gin o'clock tonight, might make it clearer. :unsure:

Basically he wants to stick a fence on a brick wall, but the wall has piers.

I think I would fit timber posts with packers behind -then the fence would be panels with posts in between
