I live in a built up area with a radio ham living very close to me. I am worried about interference.

Will it be OK to use cat6 UTP solid copper or cat6 FTP solid copper cable?

Thanks

I doubt interference wise there will be any difference, but I would doubt you would suffer any interference. I'm a radio amateur and I have an extensive CAT6 network in the house and have never caused myself any such issues to the LAN or my WiFi.

I'll go with the cheaper cat6 UTP in that case and save some money.

I was looking at one called Kortex. Have you used this cable before and is it of good quality?

If not could you recommend a decent brand that is for outdoor use.

Thanks

I installed my LAN wiring decades ago, so I'm completely out of touch with brands and what is OK for outdoors, sorry.

However, why outdoors at all?

The old analog cameras on the front of the house are up above a slight ledge so cables won't be seen when run around the house and there is one down the garden on the garage as well. So I will have to re-run that one on top the soil like last time.
