Simple home alarms - window shock alarms

Has anybody used anything like these Window Alert Vibration Alarms?

I have set up some cameras that cover the front door, side access and rear of house.
The weak points in the house are the side front door (just about visible from road, and neighbour's house), side windows (visible from both neighbours homes) and the rear French doors (out of sight).

Rather than an expensive alarm system that will detect motion everywhere, I was thinking of just something on the rear windows that will go off if somebody starts whacking it with a big flower pot or hammer.

But are these going to be loud enough to be heard?

My grndma had some when I was a kid, and the ones she had were mega loud, internally when they were set off, not sure how they sounded externally
 
Wondering if I should just get a cheap alarm system with a speaker on the outside of the house ... two of those would £24.

Would be nice to have something that can be activated or deactivated with app etc...

In the world of security you totally get what you pay for, I appreciate money can be tight and you don't want to spend too much. There are very cheap budget options that will work locally but you shouldn't really expect that to offer the full protection and functionality of a proper solution.
 
I get that. But it's either cheap or nothing when you are down to your last £50.
 
hmm well cant see you getting much new for that price.

panel and keypad for £50 ish?
still need a bell and sensors?

seen second hand old kits going for more than £50
 
Detects intruder and sets off an alarm?
 
If you are on a tight budget I would suggest purchasing a dummy box with a flasher in and at least trying to make it look like you have a decent alarm and hopefully deterring the criminals..
