I plan to have 4 low voltage garden lights supplied via 1.5mm swa which will be switched from inside the house. I have already ran swa from CU to suitable outdoor box which i will terminate and connect 1.5MM T&E and bring through wall inside house to a switch. I have already earthed the armour at the CU is this adequate or is it necessary to earth at the outdoor box also? And therefore earth the armour at each lighting point in the garden?
Thanks

How have you terminated the Armour with Two Glands at each light and one at the last? Or does each one have a seperate run terminated at your "Outbox" ?

Chivers67 at the moment I’ve ran SWA from CU to the back of the house to an external weatherproof box. I’ve also ran SWA from this box to each point in the garden where the lights are to be fitted. I’ve earthed the armour at the CU end so far.
So, to answer your question, I do plan to terminate the SWA with two glands at each light except for the last one.
So, do I have to earth the armour at each termination?
Thanks

If you plan to have a box at each light, you can get boxes that have an option to buy an earth bar that fits in the box and spans across the two gland holes, other options are Earthing nuts some swa glands come with them included,, Banjos are old hat nowadays, and can sometimes compromise the boxes water integrity.
