There is no doubt Boris is a clever strategist.

Lets not forget Boris managed to become Mayor against a Labour opponent in an area that is a Labour stronghold.

We can assume that everything Boris is doing, is basically geared towards winning a general election. So he will be doing everything he can to appeal to his core voters including Tories, Brexit party voters, Labour leavers.

Labour are the only party that can challenge, they need to get a powerful strategy together fast. The problem is that Labour need a new leader and new advisors to have a chance, which wont happen because Corbyn wont step down.

Hi Festive.
This is a very posative thread for a change. A chance for us all to celibrate our new leader.

Thank you for the opportunity.

I love Blondes with a magnetic personality.. I really do think he will make a good personality.
My politics I think are in the middle
Last election I actually thought of voting Jeremy Corbin. Boris is the complete opposite but has a bit more about him. So I believe he will get my vote.

Regards Bod

We don't need a general election right now and I certainly don't want one!

We do need an election, we need to get rid of the utter muppets in charge.

We need an election because the Brexit liars are running out of options

Probably Leave voting Tories dont want an election at the moment.

I think your right. Somone like John Mcdonald. And he need to lay his cards on the table. That if he wins We are staying in the EU.
And state he will respect a Boris win will mean leaving.

The problem with him is he's already alienated the big Scottish vote that wants to stay part of the UK.

He will more than likely loose their vote to Boris.. Which is strange as Ruth is a big remainer.

Funny times in politics.

I think we need an election. Boris will need a majority so I don't think he will have a choice. In his own time when he thinks it's right.

It wont be in his own time.

If a no deal becomes inevitable, a vote of no confidence will have to happen.

Boris wont need a majority, its not necessary when on the dole
