I last suffered one in the early 70's....

Apparently there are many recently around the country.

Is anyone still without power?

Blimey, they are a regular occurrence in rural areas (you know, the places that don't matter)

You have not had a power outage since the early 70's!,:ROFLMAO: I find that very surprising unless UPS/Generators are involved for your power.

I tend to get 2 per year, normally lasting around 5-30 minutes each.

Regards: Elliott.

That's a lot!
Get one about once every 5 years, for just a few seconds. Very lucky then!

used to get 1 or 2 a month, more often brown outs than outright power cuts. You get used to it.

A few years ago, several of my neighbours lost power for about 3 or 4 days over Christmas. If I recall they lost power on the 24th. Lucky I was not affected!

Didn't some say we would get power cuts if we thought about Brexit.

Oh god, don't start. The 2 generators that failed on Friday were owned by French and German companies. That's enough on the matter!
