I'm putting a new concrete base down in my garage/workshop
Size is approx 1.5m3
I'm working on my own so don't want to mix manually and leveling would be awkward as i'm link detached so have found BreedonFlow :

Looks very easy and quick to put down
Just wondered if anyone has used this product and what your thoughts were ?

Breedon have a couple of product options of which "Form" is the one they recommend, but "Finish" is a lot smoother, although not readily available
Has anyone seen the difference and is the "Finish" option worth pursuing ?

For anyone who is interested, 1.5m3 of "Form" costs £360 inc vat (delivered)

Anyone got any experiences of this production please ?
Also, how much would the approx cost be for raw materials (sand, cement, aggregate) for 1.5m3 ?

Thanks in advance

Shouldn't you be comparing to normal ready mixed pumped concrete? That's supposed to cost somewhere around £80 a cubic meter

How is levelling difficult?

Not so much difficult Tigercubrider I mentioned awkward.
It’s a link detached so I am laying between and right up to 2 houses and there is a back wall also so not sure how I get anywhere near the level that I would get with self levelling.
Also, I would not be able to use a straight edge to screed the top side to side as again, being link detached, I obviously don’t have any guides to work off to set the level of the top

Can’t you batten down each side with 2x2, tamp level off that, then remove it?

That's what I would do.
Fit a couple of battens- possibly higher on the walls and make a device that hangs down to the correct height. Once it's done and concrete is set, take off the battens
Basically a giant upside down T
