ADT Visonic Powermaster 10

Hi all,

My adt contract is coming to an end and we can’t afford to keep paying for the contract. I was told (not by adt obv) that since ADT installed visonic product and not their own, it is possible to use the existing system without contract. I did some research online but there is very little information so I have a few questions:

- It sounds like getting the installer code from adt is impossible so, was it left to do: hard reset? Some mentioned about changing the monitor?
- Communication/phone calls: adt use to call us when the alarm is going off. How would we made aware of the alarm going off if ADT is not involved now? Is there any other way of communicating? I see visonic has a capability.

ADT control panels can have there own software versions ,but does depend on control panel.

Did you get anywhere with getting your box working ?

I read in another thread you need to remove the GSM module from inside it and than huh can continue to use the Alarm system although without monitoring as alerts would be disabled.

I have queries of my own in regards to ADT P10. See photos.

New place I moved into has the ADT P10 box fitted. It is made by Visonic who also make and sell a non ADT version of P10. The alarm system is still working without the ADT subscription.

I have been able to find manuals only for Visonic’s own P10 box online and wondering if the same installation instructions would work for the ADT even though both boxes look physically different on the outside.

I’m guessing ADT had a custom version of the Visonic P10 made for themselves. Possibly a custom firmware too as I have read Visonic ADT boxes only work with accessories supplied by ADT and not regular Visonic ones.

My second query is to know if their a way to reset the box so that it goes back to factory codes & ideally a straight Visonic box.

I want to do this so that firstly I can reset installer code and secondly make the box open to working with standard Visonic accessories.

Any advice would be appreciated.

All these panels can be reprogramed and reset, I have done many of them.

I have similar problem , can i use kp-141 pg2 (888-0:037) ENRL ADT with a standard
PowerMaster-10 G2 ( NOT ADT)
