Hi.

All screws were loose on the 'door side' of both door hinges. I secured the top screws and the door closed as normal.

I then secured the bottom hinge screws. When closing the door this time, it butted against the door jamb as shown in the photo.

I am um uncertain if the hinge needs to be adjusted from the top. Many thanks for any advice.

Is the bottom hinge definitely sat in the rebate in the door? Has the frame moved/is it loose?

Do you only have two hinges?
Is the gap at the top big?
Try a piece of card in the top, between the hinge and frame, do the bottom tight first

Hinge is in the rebate. Frame has not moved.

Internal door, cannot swell.

Yes, only two hinges, Ok for this door.

I will try the cardboard.

Prior to me doing anything, it would close, but only by holding the handle and lifting the door into the closed position. That is how I knew screws were loose.

Will report.
