Hi guys

I have to make up levels prior to tiling and after UFH cement boards are laid. This is so the finished floor level is flush with the sliding door aluminium frame.

After the UFH boards 18mm I have 35mm to get a flush level. The tile is 11mm, 3mm DITRA and 6mm adhesive leaves me with 15mm.

If I use self levelling compound this will be the best option but a lot
Of work. Could I use plywood or even Celotex type board?

Any suggestions welcomed!

Thanks

why not use the search button to look for "ufh"?

i dont want to get involved with trying to answer your question but fwiw will raising the FFL to meet the alu frame cause any knock-on problems with adjoining room threshold levels?

How about under the UFH boards fix some 12mm backer Boards first. Trowel out some flexi adhesive under the boards, then screw down, and you have 15mm.
