Bath pipework

Just a quick question on plumbing in a new bath....there is some existing pipework but not sure which to take the cold supply of...
There is an existing cold supply pipe to toilet and shower ...then there is another separate cold supply pipe which runs to the basin and the outside tap...which cold supply do you think i should use for the bath?

Is one connected to a cold water storage tank ,and the other to the mains ? Is the shower instantaneous electric or other ?
I assume there hasn't been a bath previously installed ?
Is hot water from a combi boiler or cylinder ?

Theres no cold water storage tank (but there was once as 50s house)...the shower is gravity fed and boiler is a combi...i cant see any pipework for bath but presumably was one in there once as is origional downstairs bathroom...ive attached pic...pipes on left hand side are going to basin and outside tap...top pipe on rhs comes from toilet...thanks for your help..

If you don't have a storage tank ,then your shower can't be gravity fed. If all hot and cold are mains pressure ,then it makes no difference where you connect into the cold supply. The closest point to where the bath taps will be would be the most obvious.
