Hi
I am attempting a self install with Hive with an Ideal Combi
I will isolate all electrics and want to make sure that I am doing things correctly before I do the diy work at home at get stuck.

Is my wiring diagram correct below?
Can I use the mains into the boiler and connect off the same connector with a new wire to the hive unit for the permanent live?
Is my 3093Y 0.75mm2 cable selection appropriate? And what cable should I be using for the red lines (live & switched live to the HIVE 2)

Any advice is much appreciated!

Cheers

yes that is correct , remember and remove the red link no need to run the earth the hive does not need it, if your boiler has an existing in built timer it will have to be set to constantly on

So much for Boiler+ scheme
Take it boiler is registered with Ideal and Benchmark completed, Gas rated and FGA reading entered in the Benchmark

There is a need to run earth wires, even if not used. It's part of the regulations, up to 1966 you could run lights without earth wires, but since that date earth wires required even if not used.

Which Hive do you have is it Dual Channel or single channel ?
