Hi,

Could someone tell me what this valve is on the lockshield please? See red circle on image. We have one one every radiator on the ground floor but nowhere else. We don't have what I know as a standard drain valve and assume this is possibly related but never seen before.

Thanks

them lockshield valves have a combined drain off port,a radiator bleed key is needed to open the drain off valve part.

They need some consideration before opening the drain off part to avoid puddles (y)

Think it looks like a Myson Matchmate product but it could be a similar product,at least you have a few drain off's

yes drain off lockshield valves you must have drop feeds probably stone floors

Thanks both - that's really useful to know and yes we have stone floors. I've used a standard drain off before but not these. Will look into how best to use them and not make a mess.

close the valve , use a rad bleed key, attach a drain hose, open the valve and it will drain down, you will need to open the air bleed valve too though
