How can one person be 'they' or 'them'?

The author has tried to comply with the wishes but of course it doesn't make sense.

How much madder can the world get before someone with some common sense stands up for the rest of us?

There are apparently over 100 different genders, that's what they're teaching kids anyway. Yep, you can be whatever you want.

How mad is that.

I kind of get the idea that there are people whose sexuality differs from there body,
and I get these people should be able to live as normal a life a possible and be accepted in society.

But I cant understand for the life of me how having 100 different gender pronouns helps.

Are companies going to start sending employees on 'gender pronoun training days'.

It's quite simple

If you see a man leave a car with the lights still on, you say "he's left his lights on"
If you see a woman leave a car with the lights on, you say "she's left her lights on"

If you see a parked car with it's lights on, you say "they've left their lights on"

It is hard to remember, but I really don't see why people get so excited/flustered about it.
I treat people how I'd like to be treated, and don't give a toss who they sleep with
I hope I am nice /respectful to all people. Although I draw the line at brexiteers

which may be true.

The Times is circumspect.

Can you name a hundred gender identities? I don't doubt that people have hundreds, if not thousands, of sexual preferences, which is not the same thing.
