Sanding a Concave Mitre (Picture Frame)?

I've been making a few picture frames and my mitres are often a bit out. I want 'seamless' mitres and fill most of them with a flexible wood filler (two part) and then sand. I have to sand away both a bit of the moulding and the excess filler. I usually do it by hand and use sand paper, but is there a sander or drill attachment that I could use? The mouldings I use are a bit fiddly. The wood is obeche and soft, and sometimes I use ash.

You can get a profile sanding set for the Fein multitools which comprises a series of moulded rubber profiles that attach to an adaptor. Similar rubber profiles are also available for manual sanding. All these profiles are designed for use with PSA (self adhesive) sandpaper. Sorry, but I'm travelling right now and can't easily post links (big fingers small phone)

Home made sanding tools for concave can be made up using PSA adhesive wrapped around different sized wooden dowels. Convex sanding tools can be made by taking an off cut of your moulding, spraying tack adhesive on it then carefully attaching coarse (60 grit) sandpaper to it and using this to form a 50 to 70mm long scrap of MDF (ideally MR-MDF) into a counter profile. By attaching sandpaper to this counter profile a profiled sanding block can be made at home. Beware, though. This technique is limited to small cross sections
