Colours changing LED FLOOD lights which memorise colour

Ok have a problem I have to light up a building with 5 led floods lights which have to come on red every night, we want to purchase these so that when they go off during the day they memorise the setting to come on blue again at dusk, we obviously want RGB so that next week they can be changed to another colour

Help please

the simplest thing is to buy white LEDs and use lighting gel to change the colour.
That's the way that it would be done with standard halogen floods or theatrical floods.
You'll need IP rated floods so standard theatrical lighting becomes an issue

If using RGB floods to send RED only, then 66% of the flood won't be used.
You might need to check that the gel you buy is ok with the colour temperature of the flood.
Most theatrical gels are balanced to convert tungsten lights at 3200 or so - I recently bought an LED flood to light my loft and it was 6500k (daylight temp)

It would be possible with theatrical lighting but the IP rating will cost an arm and leg

Phillips Hue Lily external spotlight will do the colours and programmable time thing, but its only a 50w equivalent, so may not be bright enough on its own.

Alternatively a traditional shape smart bulb in a suitable spot light fitting may be better - Phillips Hue (60w equivalent) or Ikea Tradfri around 100w equivalent).

Probably a bit OTT, but I've been looking into DMX, DALI, etc lately for home. I gather that some DALI controllers allow you to configure them so that they power up in a specific state. So you'd have the ability to configure them for this week's requirement, and changing them to the next will be a matter of hooking up your laptop with DALI interface to re-program them.
And if something more is wanted, add a full time controller to do whatever you want. In fact, you could just have the DALI controller turn the lights on/off as required and omit the need for a timeswitch.

A place I used to work had a large atrium with old theatre lights tarted up and retro fitted with led sources. There was a remote on the wall that allowed several colour sequences and chases
All the other theatre dimmers were made by chilli so I suspect the foyer ones were as well
DMX makes it easy but lighting outdoors with coloured lights will cost a lot more than simple colour filters
