Hive thermostat question

i have a vailant boiler with a wireless thermostat.

I would like to fit a thermostat that can be controlled by phone app like Hive.

Is this easy to do?

yes easily done , what control do you have ? you will have to change the receiver most likely , shouldnt be a big deal, pics are goof of your existing set up and you will need broadband to use your phone

Its a Salus ST621 thermostat. Its wireless between thermostat to boiler

Looks like that receiver has come off the front of the boiler as a built in unit. You'll need professional installation from a Gas Safe Registered Engineer to fit a Hive, as the electrics on a modem Vaillant are contained within the room sealing cover, which only GSRE's should remove
