Doing some works in home and there was no access to above the ceiling for putting new spots, shower feed pipe and to bore out a new hole for the extractor through the cavity wall. Had to pull ceiling for these works then re-skim. Agreed with client about putting a small opening in for future access if ever the roof leaked, access to cables, pipe. Now the room is finished, another person living been the home doesn't like the hatch being in that ceiling and now want it covered. I have no problems doing this if I get paid however what is the regs on gaining access to above ceilings. This is just a small one room extension in an old home.
