Painting White Ikea Furniture

Hi All,

I’m going to purchase a set of white Ikea Billy bookcases & wanted to paint the backboard in a different color. Does anyone have any experience with painting white Ikea furniture & have any recommendation for specific paint brands or any other tips, do’s & don’ts?

Ducky
use zinsser 123 undercoat. costs more, but thats because its very good. After that, you are able to apply any coat of any paint you desire.
