Has anyone on here got any experience or advice with baumatic ovens BT2710SS double ovens.
My sons just told me when his timer finished tonight it made a pop and now the oven does not come on now .
I didn’t realise that a timer would stop the oven working completely and it seems like it’s a mechanical device and not electronic.
I am away so can’t look at it till Wednesday but I can check it better then.
Can any of the site users with this type of oven experience tell me if it could be the timer and is it a mechanical timer thanks .

Yes it’s mad 250 pounds for a mechanical timer . There’s only two terminals on the switch looking at various spares websites so I can join them together to make 100% it’s the timer first.
As they don’t use the timer function but only use the switch function I would tempted to find a same rated on/off switch .
I let you know how I get on.
Thanks for the reply.

Of course changing the switch is the easy part how to get at the control panel with the switches in at the front could be tricky.
Even more so if the top hob has to be lifted.
