Hi,

we have concrete stairs in a flat.

one carpet fitter has told us that glueing or masonary nailing grippers won't last on the stairs. fine for lounge, but on the stairs the grippers will be pulled out over time.

apparently only choice is glue down foam backed carpet.

another carpet fitter has told us it will be fine.

i can upload a picture, but wanted any opinions /expertise from here,

thanks in advance

Usually hot glue gun for concrete .
Maybe fitter doesn’t have one .

Thanks mate.

No, he didn't have one.
We're going to trying drilling and plugs.
The concrete seems good and sound.
