Cable finder recommendation

Can anyone recommend a cable finder please ?

I will be fitting an extractor hood today and there is a hob below it so plan to perform all the usual horizontal and vertical checks but was wanting to have that further confirmation rather than finding any live, dead or sheathing the hard way

Maybe someone else has a helpful suggestion, personally all the ones I've ever used have been next to useless.

thanks for the quick reply Eddie

can you confirm what types, models you have used please so i can avoid ?
did it not find the cable at all, or the accuracy was miles out ?

Last one was a Bosch DMF10 superseded. Problems were false negatives, false positives, just random readings TBH. Useless, and that particular model was supposed to be quite good.
