They need us more than we need them......

I guess you are still scratching your head over the need for a hard border in Ireland.

I know its a bit tricky for you
Do let me know if I can help

Angela Merkel made her position clear this morning, NI will not be leaving the EU, ever. Leo will be getting a little worried that, could be a very interesting situation next week.
Do you think the Germans might come over all 'Donald' and start building a wall, a great big beautiful wall. Oh, the irony, LOL.

Fact is this country is not going to be dictated to by the Germans & French

there is already a border in Ireland between north and south

either the opposition parties sort them selves out

or the EU can go and do one ;)

Of course, sb. You're quite happy to say "idiot cowardly collaborator" but when this prompts the response "devious, lying Brextremist" you have an attack of the vapours.

You can hand it out but....

it matters not a jot what insults you post about me ,as I have zero respect for you , go back to your post 17 and have a long hard think about yourself , then come back and explain it

Only a devious, lying Brextremist would call the Benn Act a "surrender" act.

It prevents the current (temporary) Prime Minister from acting illegally to overrrule Parliament.

we live in a Parliamentary democracy.

Overruling Parliament is what dictators do.

the only "surrendering" Boris has to do is to comply with the law of the land.

In this country, Parliament makes the laws.

It must be very difficult for a rancid Quitter to accept the Supremacy of Parliament.

But wait! That's what they said they wanted!

Obviously they were lying.

No change, then.

I think sbgasman may have a point John.

You may not like the tone, but the post is factually correct.

The bill was put in place to stop a no deal brexit.

Johnson should not have tried to prevent parliament from debating no deal.

We live in a democracy and that means things get done by debating.

I didn't name you.

""idiot cowardly collaborator" "devious, lying Brextremist""

Is one a worse insult than the other?

Which came first?

Oh come off it Notch democracy went out of the window years ago. If democracy is dictated by the likes of Gina Millar/George Soros or the latest court case brought by Dale Vince, green energy millionaire and tax avoider extraordinaire, that's not democracy is it?.

Boris orwellian doublespeak.

We will not surrender to the EU but to the whole world.

Feast upon our Industry.

Boris the dictator tried and failed thanks to those who wish the laws of the land to be upheld.

Rubbish, you've got one set of people striving for an outcome that looks after their vested interests fighting another set of people striving for an outcome looking after their vested interests. I'm siding with the set of people who are trying to honour a referendum result because that resembles a democracy more closely than the alternative.

Just to check, did you vote for "no deal?"

Because nobody else did.
