Hey everyone just bought a 2006 Vauxhall Vivaro and have noticed it takes a while to turn over on start and is also a little sluggish, was told could be faulty glow plugs so have installed a new set of 4 and also replaced the maf sensor and air filter, just ordered a new inter cooler pipe as mine has a couple of holes.

After installing the new maf sensor and air filter it seems to run smoother but still having issues on start up any ideas anyone please would be a great help???

Check to see if the glowplugs are actually getting 12v, Ashley......just because the dash board light comes on, the voltage provision isn't guaranteed!
Failing that, I'd guess that fuel is returning to the tank overnight - it would be awkward to start first thing but then be ok for the rest of the day.
John :)

Thanks for you quick response John, will check them, The fuel primer is solid when I squeeze it so that's all good. it's not just in the morning I have the starting issue its everytime I get in the van real strange takes about 10 seconds to turn over.
