worcester bosch 240

i have read all the posts (well nearly all) to try and find a post with same problem as me i found a few, some of them say that the water pressure is not up to the recommended 1.5 bar what i need to know is how do i get it there. i have had a look at the boiler and i cant see a filling loop on, i have also read that some bosch dont have a filling loop if so does that mean it is not a pressurised system, if it is how can i pressure the system up, as all i can see is pipes with stop valve4s on and one drain pipe at least that what it looks like.
any advice would be most helfull and appreciated.

Hi tony, I think that model has a white plastic key to insert underneath to fill the boiler. You may be able to remove a trim undrneath and the key should be there [but I could be thinking of a different model!]

Had one recently, boiler in the kitchen, filling loop under the floor in the back bedroom

You are thinking of the cdi range.

all i have underneath the unit is two large pipes with valves on them two small pipes one of which is the inlet i presume and one short one that looks like a drain of some sort with a hollow top (only that one is pointing to the floor) as i dont know anything about these things im sorry if the info is a bit vague.

Where is it installed?

If its in the kitchen look in the cupboards at the back/ undersink etc.

If the "drain off of some sort" has a valve with a red knob on it,
a bit like this
that one should go through the wall.

If there's what seems to be an open end with a thread round it, that's one end of where the filling loop would go. In fact the loops (flexy hose) are supposed to be removed but almost none are. There will be another "end" within a foot or so.

thanks a lot for the info ive had a proper look at the drain thing i described and it has an internal thread on it so i assume that is where the loop will thread on to and the little pipe that comes off at an angle will be how to open it.

i forgot to mention that there is no other tap or connection any where near the above drian?inlet for filling lop so i assume that it will be filled from the mains taps. correct ?

INternal thread is WRONG.
That sounds like the pressure relief valve - red knob, don't touch.

Try that link, if it didn't work you get the idea from the header maybe.., it's here:

Do you have a small header tank in the loft? If so, no filling needed, apart from the tank..

affirmative tank is about 18 inches high with a ball cock inside and is about half or just less than a half full
