So he's done it - Boris has ditched NI - Border down the Irish Sea

@Vinty where you at?

DUP says it won't vote for deal because it 'drives coach and horses' through Good Friday agreement

Would this be the same Good Friday Agreement (that the DUP can't bring themselves to say out loud they always say Belfast Agreement) that the DUP did not support?

"“...We do not understand how the government might have come to negotiate a withdrawal agreement in terms that breach amendments tabled by its own European Research Group.

“Unless and until section 55 is repealed by the UK parliament, it is simply not open, as a matter of law, for the United Kingdom to enter into such an agreement..."

This?
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2018/22/section/55/enacted

"55 Single United Kingdom customs territory

(1) It shall be unlawful for Her Majesty’s Government to enter into arrangements under which Northern Ireland forms part of a separate customs territory to Great Britain.

(2) For the purposes of this section “customs territory” shall have the same meaning as in the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1947 as amended."

Who voted for that, then?

I wonder what they intended to achieve?

Has Buffoon been acting unlawfully (again)?

It's time we got a Prime Minister that doesn't treat the law with contempt.

It looks like the solution that the EU posed - a border down the Irish Sea - one rejected by May is now essentially being revived under Boris.

NI will eseentially remain within the EU.

Let's begin the breakup of the Union.
Happening regardless of Brexit.Keep up
