The Johnson deal....its not quite what it seems

If the opposition party's could or had actually agreed on a coherent strategy they could have got Johnson out

But as per usual they are more interested in there own agendas

Bunch of buffoons ;)

What specifically didn't you like or wanted differently?

Specifically . . . Freedom of movement. Nothing has done more overall damage to the UK's social structure since Maggie sold off our utilities.

I bridge the gap between the rich & poor, I see everyday the massive effect this policy has had on the haves & the have nots. Whilst it is nice to have a property portfolio earning an average of 9%pa, it is not nice to sit, chat, & actually hear my tenants fears.

There's a character in my local pub, worked 40+yrs in the stinking heat of an iron foundry, raised 4 children who all went on to Uni' & good jobs. At what point after contracting cancer did he become a burden on our welfare state? He collapsed in his kitchen a few weeks ago & it took 4 ****ing hrs for an ambulance to arrive.

When I finally realised that I had enough £money to leave the rat race & become my own boss in the late 80's, I threw the financial advisor out of my house & became a property developer/investor/slumlord. Something that 'me Dad' was very suspiscious of but something that satisfied me a lot more than working for the man. I have basically been playing Monopoly in the real world & just like the game there can only be one winner.

What exactly do you want?

Oh dont you start ffs. I dont want to be part of the EU I voted to leave. The box I ticked was to leave and accept the decision was left to the experts to resolve.
TBF the EU are understandably fed up with Brexit, they dont want UK domestic party politics spilling over and they really want to get on with other stuff.

A =true, Boris does desperately want a deal, it gives him a GE boost and kill off Brexit party votes
B =I dont think there is anything hidden in that, he just wants a deal done
C= Juncker suggesting no extension is mere noise to help MPs vote for the deal. EU would allow extension.
C = Labour have been hopeless on Brexit for 3 years

It wont surprise to hear I think Brexit is wrong :)
Actually its not Brexit per se, its the fact the campaign has been run entirely with a hidden agenda so there has been zero interest in an honest debate about the good and bad of the EU and the good and bad of the destination after Brexit.
Neither has been discussed.
A balanced post from the old Notch

Agree to an extent but for me both sides I still feel have been full of hyperbole and spin.

It's only left me even more disenfranchised and disappointed in our political system.

Indeed, Labour haven't really given a **** about Brexit they've just been chasing the golden chalice of a GE win the whole time. With considerable infighting the whole time. My god they should of cleared up by now but they insist on having such sh1t leaders it just allows the opposition to get away with marginally less sh1t behaviour.

Brexit has been so ruined by the antis and the bullshit its somewhat tainted anyway. And the way our government and Mps handled it, we should really be offered the best EU deal ever for playing the perfect example to the rest of the EU partners on why you shouldn't leave the EU.

I don’t think his deal will get through. I think it would be too good a gift for the opposition to pass. They are cooking a no confidence vote that allows JC to be PM and sturgeon to be queen of Scotland

A very few days ago the general thinking was that he didn't have a cat in hells chance of reaching a deal. I think it has a good chance of going through.

If you were Corbyn you’d want it defeated. Perhaps some of labour will back in order to get a new leader.

Labour have been a terrible opposition. It has become marginalised and all the time its leader is voted in by the members will stay as a fringe party for years. Which is bad for democracy.

Memo to all Tories. Keep saying the public want this uncertainty to end. Even though a deal means ten years of continual arguments. .

Nichola Sturgeon is already complaining about this deal.
She thinks it gives N.I. an unfair advantage over Scotland .

That's great. So you were happy with Theresa's deal, you're happy with no-deal, and you're happy with the Irish Border deal. You'd have been happy with Norway and you'd have been happy with Switzerland.

That's why you've had nothing to grumble about for the last three years.

You must have been really cross with Smogg's bunch though, holding things up.

Yes quite, Nichola the nutter.
What's the general feeling in your part of the country Vinty?, I know it's not ideal and I haven't seen the full detail so I'm not sure on eventual get out clauses etc, but do you think it's a price worth paying to 'begin' leaving or do you think Boris has given too much away?

JohnD get this into your effing polarized brain this was NEVER a political thing this was about leaving the EU not following the ideology of Tory leaders could of been instigate by any party my vote would of been the same. Saying that I still feel I would of preferred it to be lead by Tories all the same albeit marginally. And that is your fundamental shorted sighted issue here.
