You could use that module to be fair.

wire the trigger inputs to an output or bell trigger.

Check the operating specs.

Yes you can. Google SelfMon, I have been using the service for a few years now on my G2-12. It works a treat.

So how do these things work ? I have read on the description what it does but not sure how to install on the panel and can I put any SIM card in that will text ring my mobile ? Or do I buy a pre loaded sim ?

it is a 2G service I believe and you can put any 2g sim in there I believe they were being sent out with giff gaff payasyougo sims.

power, and two outputs, you may get more information off there web site https://www.ealert.co.uk/

There are few different models, 1 of which I believe can ring you, but doesn't play a message, the others send just a text.

Ask them any questions you have the guy that made them should be able to answer any questions

Mine is an ethernet module add-on which costs about £50, is hard wired into the alarm panel, and is connected to my internet router by an ethernet cable. I have full control of my alarm panel via phone app or any internet - as if I were standing at my keypad in the hallway.

The Selfmon service costs £1 per month to use, which includes 20 text messages. You can have texts/emails/voice call notifications as per your requirements. Voice call notifications cost extra IIRC. There are a few happy users on here, and I have no affiliation to the company other than being a happy customer.
