Can I please have your advice on how I should approach this situation.

This is how the window is situated in relation to the walls around it:

At first, I was thinking about having a uniform amount of window being shown from all four sides. I was going to use the top as a guide. But, this would mean that there will be very little of the frame visible, once it has been tiled. as indicated by the top part of this window.

I will instead try to maximise the window frame that is visible from the ides and the bottom but ensure that the same amount of frame is visible on both vertical sides.

Firstly, does this seem sensible?

Assuming yes, I am also fairly limited on the left side of this window. I am concerned that if I fix a board to this, by the time I have added adhesive and the tiles, there will be very little window frame visible.

I was wondering if I ca tile directly onto the left and then match this (with a board as I have the space) on the right side of his window.

Here is a closer picture of the wall on the left side:

Thanks in advance.

Can someone kindly advise me on the above please. It would be a great help.
Thanks in advance.

I think you could tile direct on the left - but use a cement based (powder) tile adhesive . Then on the right use 2 or so boards to bring up the thickness. Don't use expanding filler foam to fix them - it might push the board out of true. Not an expert tiler but that is what I'd do

Which product can I use to stick the plasterboard piece on? I don’t want to buy the large bag just for this.

Would something like gripfill do it?

When using this type of tile trim, do I still mitre the corners at 45 degrees? Or do these work differently?
I like these as they have a "lip" on both edges of the tiles :)

Hi, new here, I’m after some advice. I had somebody who I thought “was competent” to fit my kitchen and due to the walls not being square part of the worktop comes off the wall roughly 300mm. Just a quick question to see how far I can bring out tiles when I tile it?
Any advice will be appreciated

Jasegy, why not start a fresh thread in the woodwork forum for your question - add a photo if possible?

perhaps, do you mean 3mm not 300m?

I wasn’t wondering if anyone can advise on how I mitre the tile trims I posted above please.

Thanks in advance

UPDATE: I went for a straight trim and am working through this...
Thanks again

The top tiles have been an utter nightmare!
After a week of having the battens on, they fell off when I removed the battens. I’ve now put them up again and with even more adhesive. Is there a trick to these that I am missing?

I've never seen that happen before. How thick are your tiles?

Normally just notch the adhesive onto the top reveal, bit of back-buttering for good measure, then wiggle it into place.
