danesmoor 15/19 no power to oil solenoid

I think you'll find a 3.15A slow blow fuse on the PCB......all voltages are 240 on these as far as I know.

I have no action at the burner unit at the moment after changing the fuse .the timer panel and indicator lights are working up top would this be the case if the slow blow fuse on PCB is blown .I'm thinking it may run if I find rise and replace it. I don't have a slow blow fuse would a regular 3amp fuse do temporary? Thanks

I would certainly try a 3A fuse, but it could blow immediately....the slow blow fuse can take an excess of 3.15A for quite a long time - convenient when you get a sharp heavy load such as a motor starting up. Its worth a try, but whether you could upgrade to a 5A or whatever is really not for me to say.
Also check the overheat stat for tripping, usually under the control panel and is reset by pushing it up. This will keep the boiler lights on but the burner dead.
John :)

the overheat stat was ok , top panel still working as normal but no life at burner , i will check this fuse at the pcb next , i have a new control box coming, but theres hope in the meantime if i find a blown fuse at pcb. thanks

i opened up panel and there is no slow blow fuse or anything that resembles a fuse

There wont be on that model, just the mechanical stats. Remove the control box and test voltage at the base. The TF830 and 832 are compatible. The difference is that the 832 has provision for a 2 stage burner. With the amount of messing about you have done to your control box, I'm not surprised that it does not work. If there is a component on the burner that has blown the box, make sure you've replaced that before you ruin another box.
It is easy to test the components with wiring links in the control box base.

thanks for your help ,john, lads its up and running now. the oil solenoid had shorted inside and blew the box . i threw in new fan bearings as well while i waited on new box, so a warm hoose again

Pleased to hear you’re sorted once more - the bearing replacement is a good move too. Those 6202’s get everywhere!
John :)
