Boom - There go your worker rights

I have better things to do other than trawling through a load of gossip.. Twitter, LOL.

So you can look through the WAB. But you won't as you are too afraid to be proven wrong. Sad how you would rather hold onto a lie that will make your kids lives harder.

Point me to the relevant text saying when this law to ruin our kids lives was introduced, I can then read it and give you my opinion of it, to add to everyone else's opinion, but don't post a link to twitter.

Didn't realise so many people hated Twitter too - why is this forum OK but Twitter not? They are both public forums where people share their opinions.

Currently being introduced for the pedantic...

So what's your opinion of removing their rights to freedom of movement and unfettered access to work/education/transferable skills/benefits in 27 other countries?

On top of course to the removal of workers rights guarantees being from a legal basis to a 'political statement'.

Edit: Plus 3 other EEA countries and Switzerland

In all it's glory. You can turn to page 36 which gives you a clue where to look next. Brexiters don't like to be spoon fed as you are all experts.
4Protection for workers’ rights(1)After section 18 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (customsarrangement as part of the framework for the future relationship) insert—“18A Protection for workers’ rights(1)Part 1 of Schedule 5A (which requires statements of non-regression inrelation to workers’ retained EU rights) has effect.(2)Part 2 of Schedule 5A (which provides for reporting requirements andparliamentary oversight in relation to new EU workers’ rights) haseffect.(3)Part 3 of Schedule 5A (which contains interpretative provision) haseffect.”
This ?
Not my spelling/grammar , just the way it cut&pasted.

Freedom of movement is not a right, other countries are free to invite or refuse entry to whoever they wish. my wife has relatives working in Switzerland, my neighbour works in various countries, Canada USA Australia, all with no problem, so if the eu won't let our citizens in to work, is that down to us ? no, it's them being petty, or there is something iffy about the person wanting to work there.

Freedom of movement is a right at the moment, but as you point out certain 'undesirables' can be excluded...
(Switzerland is in the single market btw, so freedom of movement rules apply)

However what you to appear not to understand is that instead of being able to freely work in any one of those countries mentioned, in future you will have to get a work visa for each individual country...

And that comes with all the requirements (job to go to/minimum wage requirements/funds etc) that Canada/USA/Australia currently require but the EU/EEA/Switzerland don't...

And of course UK kids will be stuck with the highest university fees in the world, instead of having the opportunities to get their education for free/low cost in Europe...

You have to look at the details if you wish to understand what will be lost!

And those who will suffer most from this are the ones who already suffer the most in the UK

well the eu should, it would stop a lot of the bogus job seekers, car washer, scrap metal recycler etc etc, which then end up being a burden. You go to a country to earn money to support yourself and your family, there should be no extra benefits, same with UK citizens abroad. They would still be able to get a visa to work in eu countries, just a bit more hassle, but if you want to work , the hassle shouldn't deter you. A university degree is not the be all and end all of things. more people get employment without one than with one.

Ooh careful you're talking about degrees he gets a bit sensitive about them..

Anyway they've let me out of the care home for a bit no wait somebody just sh1t my pants
