Today me and decorator chased firestick lead in the wall so that it runs off an extension cable along with fire and tv.

Fuse has just blown and not sure how to get it out of the plate.the bit saying FUSE pops out but not fully.

Anyway wondering if it could happen again, but the fire stick was using the plug next to it which I think all runs off the samd fuse anyway ( and been fine for 5 years)

Is there a small screw on the front near the fuse carrier - sometimes undoing this will be the answer. Or the fuse might just need a gentle push

Hi - I unscrew but still couldnt pop the fuse out, but found out it's the main fuse that trips every time I plug the fire in to the extension that also has my tv on..

So this has always been the case for 5 years and no issue.

Only changes are 1) chased fire stick cable into wall 2) tv cable connector circuit not taped up as decorator needs to take off the wall again to finish off. Could this be something with interference/ earthing not overloading the circuit? As I've unplugged fire stick and the sound bar, sound bar, fire and tv were all working on the same circuit for years no issue

If it's an MK fuseholder, they are removed by undoing the screw until the fuse drawer moves out, then pulling on the fuse drawer while at the same time undoing the screw.

the main fuse that trips
What is the device that trips, and what is written on it? Does it have a test button?
