I thought he might throw the towel in tonight, he didn't.
He still appears to have the ability to surprise and with each setback, his popularity increases as more and more people, leavers and remainers alike acknowledge his tenacity in trying to get the job done, he is, in short, a leader.

Can you really say that of Corbyn, Farage or Swinson, cos that's yer alternative choice matey.

If you're right (unlikely) his popularity must be nearly infinite, as he's been defeated so often.

Do you call "being sacked for lying" a setback, as well?

I wonder how many pro-EU people have told you they admire him. Not many, I think.
