Hi,

I'm having problems getting a decent shower tray, that is one that isn't damaged from factory! I need 4 all told, first 4 weren't made right. Next 4 delivered only 1 was unmarked and most of the damage looks to be from the factory as it is in areas unlikely to be due to transporting and outside packaging is not damaged. Hence I'm looking for an alternate manufacturer to my current, premier.

Current ones I have looked at are: Premier, Mira, MX (and bathstore, wickes, B&Q). Any other makers? The shower tray sizes are offset quadrant 900x1000 (low profile), LH and RH, and 1200x900 rectangular (low profile). 1000x900 is not that common which rules out some makers (mira, bathstore, wickes, B&Q) and the drain hole position of the quadrants needs to miss the floor joists which rules out others (mx). The rectangular one is a bit more flexible but ideally has the drain in a corner.

So, who else makes shower trays?

Thanks

We have a Mira flight safe, they do all shapes and sizes but we have 1200x900, quality seems excellent although i threw away the cheap trap that came with it and used a better one from mcalpine with a metal grid. If you don't want the slip resistant surface then Mira flight low is the equivalent but to be honest one day we will all need a decent shower surface
I know it's a small run but you could always ask them about 1000x900 trays.

Kudos was a new name to me but their 1000x900 quadrants have the drain in the same position as the mira which clobbers the joist. Thanks anyway.

It's a bit of a cop out but consider raising the tray, i stuck ours on a false floor with a few 63x36 and that resolved the issue of getting the waste through the joist without boxing it in at downstairs ceiling level. Just don't use their riser kit as it is a lot less flexible on minimum height
