Drain cock washer size

I replaced a leaking radiator last week and the wanted to replace the washer in the drain cock, I have loads of spare washers but they are all too big, 1/2 size, the one on the drain cock is much smaller, about 3/8, it is a 25 year old item, any ideas where I can get ones that small please?

Can you just trim one of your spares down to size?
