What do dreams mean?

I had a very disturbing dream last night ,I dreamt I was trapped inside Donald trump's hair and couldn't find my way out.
There were others in there who said give up hope there is no escape.
Are dreams literal or symbolic.

Most of the time it’s your brain running thought processes while half of it is asleep. So often the usual pathways don’t work and you go off at an angle. Probably stress or something bothering you.

Two nights ago I dreamt that on the way to work I come across a car parked at an odd angle on a country road. Inside was a bloke slumped over the wheel apparently unconscious so I stopped. It was a very detailed dream but the short version is that I got him out the car and gave him CPR until the ambulance turned up and I was told my efforts had been successful. Nice feeling you might think.
Yesterday morning I was going to work but had to take a different country road so I dismissed the dream from the previous night. Came around a bend to find a car 'parked' at a similar angle with its front left wheel in a ditch and it's hazard lights flashing. Immediately the dream came flooding back and my heart started racing. I pulled up alongside to see a young woman on her phone but she was clearly distressed. Turns out she had hit a pothole in the road and blown out her front nearside tyre. Made sure she was ok before continuing to work but it shook me up for a short while. Can't remember ever having such an experience before.

To remember your dreams every morning is I think important. More so the bad ones. Just so you can put them in their place... These can affect your mood for the coming day.

Hence the term wrong side of bed.

It probably means you're spending too much time on here!! What a nightmare you had!

I rarely remember dreams but I do get disturbing dreams if too hot. Apparently that's a common cause. Good reason to keep the bedroom cool!
