Moved in to my house in June. It has a WB 37CDi combi boiler, which is about 10 years old. This is controlled by a WB DT10/20 RF thermostat (not sure exactly which version), which has the receiver/HW time control installed in the boiler.

I would like to change the thermostat to something more uptodate, but can't find anything on WB's website. I don't need Internet/phone control, but TPI would be helpful as it pruduces similar results as a weather compensator. I don't need HW time control -who does on a combi?

Any suggestions?

you can use any thermostat you want, doesnt have to be a Worcester, I would stay away from Salus though they are very unreliable, as you have the RF unit , when the new thermostat is fitted you will have to unplug the ribbon from the back of your existing DT RF or it wont work

I understand that; I was hoping someone would know of an RF stat with a receiver which would plug into the boiler in place of the existing reciver.

What won't?

Are you saying that no one makes a receiver which will fit my WB boiler?

You asked if there was a receiver that just plugs in, I take that to mean plug in the front the same as the Worcester one, which only Worcester will make as it’s their boiler. @ianmcd already stated that a third party’s controller will work, this will require wiring into the pcb/electronics box. Does this make sense?

The Drayton +2Rf or the +3RF wireless thermostats both come as a kit with the thermostat and receiver, but the thermostat will pair up with the DT10RF that is built into your boiler.
I don't know if you can get either of them without the receiver, though.
The timer for the hot water is to control the boilers pre-heat function. You can set it so it is not heating up over night or during the day when no one is at home.

Thanks for this information.

I have checked Draytons web-site and the thermostat/transmitter is available on its own. I checked the specs of the various options and the Digistat +2RD and +3RF both have "On/Off load compensation" with two settable parameters: system type (gas or oil), and Syste Capability (Fast/Slow warm up. They both have on/off load compensation, which I take to mean TPI. If so, this would do nicely.

I just need to check that the new stat is compatible with my current receiver as older versions work on 418 MHz while current versins use 433MHz.
