Nest heatlink into Ideal c30 boiler

We have just had a new boiler installed but the Nest is not working. I don't think its been wired in correctly. Please could someone check the pictures uploaded and let me know.

Wrong in several ways.

To do properly you will need some 5 core flex, or another piece of 3 core.

Ok. I can get this. Please could you help with what needs to be done. We will be using the Nest thermo via a stand and not mounted on wall.

With 5 core flex between the Nest heatlink and the boiler:

Colour - Boiler - Nest Heatlink

Green/Yellow: Boiler earth - Nest earth
Brown: Boiler L - Nest L
Blue: Boiler N - Nest N
Black - Boiler Room Stat - Nest 2
Grey - Boiler Room Stat - Nest 3

Doesn't matter which way round the wires at the boiler room stat terminals are.

If using 3 core flex, then the existing 3 core is for E-L-N as above, then another separate piece of 3 core flex is
Green/Yellow: Boiler earth - Nest earth
Blue- Boiler Room Stat - Nest 2
Brown - Boiler Room Stat - Nest 3

However if the existing mess was installed by someone you paid, then they should be the ones installing it properly, or you need a refund from them.

Your a star! I will do this myself as I don't trust they will do properly. I'm already trying to get a refund for other stuff. I should have guessed when he pulled up on a horse!
