Been used for donkies years in conjunction with rubber tubing masks etc....Maybe some slight reaction over time but dissolving a car tyre in seconds as it goes down the road? That is never going to happen.
I would guess at yes, because it dissolves and is also used to weld plastics very effectively. Except the public cannot buy it.
I certainly don't see it as being explosive when mixed with air.
