Leadership debate 19 Nov 8.00pm Itv

I’d refuse to vote in a second referendum as I’ve already voted. If a majority did vote leave in a second referendum, would you want a third?

The argument 'you want more referendums until you get the result you want', holds no water.

This is a free country, every person that wants to vote leave can do so.

So your only reason for not wanting another referendum is that you are scared leave will lose.
Otherwise you would be saying 'bring it on'.

You have said you would abstain from voting: thats a clear indication you are undecided.......so you are scared of your own change in opinion.

If you are given the choice to choose something of your liking and you don’t get what you chose but are then asked to chose again, it’s obvious to a fool that something is not right and if you continue to play that game, the asker of the choices is obviously trying to have you over. Hence I’d tell them to **** right off!

You, like many that voted to leave the EU seem to think that voting via a referendum is a once in a lifetime occurrence and that it is considered a rare and unique event.
The concept that going to the public multiple times has been touted and has been touted by Leavers also. Its not such a silly idea for complex dynamic political decisions such as Brexit.

And if after the next referendum the result is to remain, would you and all the other remainers be up for ANOTHER referendum? Best of three? What about after the third referendum? With something like that, those that chose to leave would never get what they voted for - we'd be in a permanent state of voting giving out clear signals of uncertainty which is causing the UK great harm. Like I said, remainers want us to keep voting until they get the result they want. Then stop. No, we've voted to leave and that’s that.

Four.

We've already had two.

I remember how much you complained that there shouldn't be a second one in 2016.

ooops... no you didn't.

Corbyn got his for the many not the few slogan out

to be fair, I didn't hear him say that once.

Boris answered every question with Brexit. Corbyn actually answered questions asked.
Boris tried to answer questions for Corbyn, saying what Corbyn would say, rather than answering it himself. Corbyn would then say "hold on, let me answer this myself BoJo" then give a totally different answer.

That was about it really. Boris really did sound like a con artist all the way through, he seemed to forget it was supposed to be debate and treated it like a political broadcast. Even the summing up statements were miles apart, with Boris just criticising labour again, and labour clearly saying what they will do.

Boris' main attack on Corbyn was that he would not say if he was going to campaign for leave or remain. Corbyn repeated, about 10 times, that the labour approach is to get a good deal with the EU that will protect workers rights, and then put it to the people so they have a definitive answer on Brexit with deal or remain, and do exactly what the people vote for. Bizarrely logical in these modern times.

IMO, if you want a sensible brexit, vote labour, or vote lib dem if it means getting the tories out of your local seat, to allow labour to get the majority. Their approach is better for us.

If you are asked to choose again, you and 17.4 million people that voted leave can do so again.

So the only way that remain can win is if some of those leave voters have changed their mind.
In which case you are scared of democracy.
You are undemocratic

Rees Mogg said: "we cant have another referendum, we would lose".

Motman says: "we cant have another referendum we would lose"

So why have the Tories called the third general election in 5 years? Was watching some news about Spain, and people said they are getting really ****ed off with the failing government that is constantly trying to reassert itself with elections. Sounded very familiar!

Tories were in power with a majority. Referendum goes their way.
They call a general election to resolve the Brexit crisis. Lose seats.
They continue to fail to make progress with Brexit. Call another election....

You're right, something is not right ...
