increase heat output of "designer" vertical radiators

what is the spacing of the tails for flow and return and what is the output of each unit? i bet you could sell those on ebay and get some higher output rads with a different design.

but i also think you've space to add another unit.

designer vertical rads never heat the room properly.
Have they been installed correctly many vertical rads are designed to be horizontal and for vertical use have internal knockout section which has to be removed to give correct flow .
Just a thought,Before doing any other work i would check the rads are fitted correctly,as mentioned some rads have baffles or other water diversion fitment inside the radiator to ensure the flow arrives at the top of the radiator, this can be established by reading the install information or before fitting just look through 2 top or bottom of the connections and if you can see straight through then there could be no baffle etc and the radiator relies on the pipe connections to get the recommended temperature through the radiator.

I posted up a new thread here recently, not knowing this old thread was a similar talking point. If some of you guys could take a look at my thread below (and look at the thermal camera pictures please), I'd appreciate any input if you think my vertical radiator is faulty or not. However going by this lengthy thread, maybe some of these verticals just aren't very good performers. My rad was fitted by the plumber so I assume there is no knockout section. The rad is clearly working, just not very hot in 4 of the 6 fins.
