Since I last had my Crystal Royale gas fire serviced, a couple of the coals have fallen down the bed and rested on the glass. When the gas engineer replaced the coals, he put them back as per the manual that I keep, which to be fair isn't brilliant in this area. Anyway, I had a go at replacing the dislodged coals in accordance with the manual but others kept falling out. I have got the coals back now but something in the manual has confused me. It says to start at the left hand of the bottom row with the fatter end of the left hand coal sitting as far left as possible. Does this suggest that the individual coals are position specific? I can't see any markings on the coals to suggest this is so. To be fair, many of the coals do have a fatter end so there may not be an issue but I would just like to be sure the coals are stacked as they are meant to be.
