Texecom SmartCom ethernet fit in Control Panel.

Hi,

I'm installing a Texecom Premier Elite 24 Metal control panel and there is loads of room inside to fit in the SmartCom which will be connected via ethernet and NOT WiFi.

Is there any reason that I should not fit the SmartCom in the control panel?

Not if its hard wired in a metal panel.

In a poly panel, you can take the yellow unit outside of the smart coms case to make it fit internally, although I know installers that have I personally would do this with a poly panel unless I had no other choice.
