Frozen doors

I have a 2015 VW Tiguan. In this freezing weather I can open the drivers door but the rear doors seem to be frozen shut. It seems that there is ice on the rubber seals and that holds the door shut.
What can I put on the rubber to stop this sticking and that will not damage the rubber seals?

I have just smeared silicone grease on my daughters doors seals as they were freezing. Vaseline may do the same thing without harming the seals.

IIRC, vaseline is not good for rubber?

I wasn't sure about Vaseline and the door seals hence the "may". Silicone grease is safe to use on rubber.

Gummiphlege (spelling) Think it's German for rubber care is good for this.

Too true, I'd not only need copious amounts of KY but an impact hammer these days
