Where is ban-all-sheds?

I know it's not really on topic but I've been a regular reader here for years, since I was a kid basically.

I used to love reading ban-all-sheds cut throat responses and the drama it would cause.

I probably haven't been on here for nearly a year though and I don't see any replies from him. Anyone know what happened?

Wasn’t it more like 6 months ago.

I think he had enough of the moderation.

On the plus side, many more people have working lights now !

And being Xmas ppl have 13A sockets connected to lighting circuits up and down the country.

You should see what’s switching my outside socket on and off !!!

I too remember B-A-S. In my other user names I have had on this forum before that I lost the usser name or password for. He was quite blunt about my experements and ruthless planning that I had done in the past and I think it was just passed off by everyone ells on hear as trolling. Mind you the emount of childish bickering that goes on this site, it all seamed to be forgoten about

Ban had an excellent knowledge of electrical installation, and could give good advice - his early posts never caused offence.

On the forum now there's enough argumentative posters, but certainly no abuse as such.

No, I cannot agree with that. I know BAS could be *very* abrasive and appear dogmatic and sometimes offensive, but in general his posts were accurate and informative.

BAS certainly got offensive on the general discussion section, I had plenty of heated discussions with him.

I couldnt help winding him up, because he used to say he had a superior intellect, not an admirable belief in my opinion.

I remember ban all sheds was on the screwfix forum until he got banned.
