Wickes 102 combo boiler need help

Have a wickes 102 combo boiler
The green power light is flashing. Have read the work shop manual for fault finding.
Both hot water and central heating work but not both together ( if heating on and you draw hot water light flashes but not the other way round)
Have changed water flow switch
Both thermistors, had a brand new pcb, brand new microswithches new fan assembly but it is still doing it.
Any help and advice would be very welcome

All combi boilers revert to H/w priority when there is a demand.
Sounds like it is working as intended.

The only problem is when heating is on and you draw hot water the light starts flashing and the central heating goes off. So I have to reset every time Hot water is drawn

Is this a re badged Halstead Ace High...If yes

Does the pin on the primary flow switch (purple wires ), operate correctly ie, fully retract and extend.

I mean the pin operated by the diaphragm underneath that operates the switch

I have a small diaphragm it came with the flow switch diaphragm.
I had know idea where it went but now you have said that have checked it and it would fit under the ch thermistor housing. So will tackle it in the Morning if I have any problems will give you a shout.

Make sure the pin moves in and out as it should. There is a channel in the casting that blocks and prevents it.

Thanks for your advice, removed the CH micro switch and yes the diaphragm underneath has gone, so removed the four screws that hold it in place but am unable to remove cap I think it is stuck in place when made at the factory and I do not feel confident in trying to get it off. I have a complete new kit for all the replacement parts.
So will get a boiler engineer out in the new year.

no wont be stuck from the factory as you say, just get a fine blade screwdriver and with the screws removed just prize it away, how do you know that the diaphragm has gone if you cant split the housing ??

When you move the pin up and down you can hear like air bubbles I know you have a diaphragm underneath but it should sound more like a squelch. It is very hard to describe to be honest. Also the boiler is 17 years old been serviced every year but this part has never been touched. As you can see by my original post most other parts have been replaced.

it is very easy to split the housing, you wont damage anything as long as you have drained the boiler, your description of different noises means nothing could only be blocked , but as you have a spare just fit it anyway
