Titan shower not working

Hello

im looking for any advice on our Titan shower. I’m t has stopped working, when you try to turn it on with the top knob nothing happens. My boyfriend said the last few times he’s used it it was a struggle to turn off but he managed it. Today he’s come to use it and nothing. No shower over Xmas isn’t ideal. Is there anything we could try before we call a plumber out?

Yeah get a new shower , as much as you don’t want to hear it , no point in even attempting to repair what you have

It’s quite possible it’s just the solenoid valve, a cheap (and usually easy) repair, but probably not available as a stock item. Edit: if you have access to a multimeter, you can test the resistance on it.

Solenoid coils are a standard item. shower doc, ebay all sell them. all about a tenner

You plumbers are so cruel, tell her the recipe of Jam, flour and sugar mixed with Unicorn pee and sprinkled on the control knobs , fixes anything
