Smart doorbell

Hi all hope you had a lovely few days!

I currently have an cctv system but looking at a smart doorbell, are there any out there that automatically come up on the TV when the doorbell rings?

I have a samsung tv if that helps.

Lol I did look at ring but speaking to ring they said it’s not possible to do as that is advertised on Samsung’s website and not theres

Allegedly the EZVIZ DB1 works on Alexa echo show, but haven’t tried it as yet and believe the resolution has to be turned down for it to function.

As for working directly to the TV it will depend on models of both TV and doorbell, so may not work if either is changed.

Agreed my tv does not have smarthings so the ring would not work either. I am very surprised no one has released something to do this exact thing

Some while ago, but I had a camera which connected to the TV's SCART socket. It was able to switch the TV to SCART when ever the camera spotted motion.

I found it on ebay - its output can connect to SCART or a video AV socket (including sound), but only plugged into SCART was it able to auto switch. It had a very long lead, guess 15/20m.
